DESCRIPTION Coleus Extract contains 250 mg of Coleus forskohlii leaf extract, standardized to a minimum of 10% forskolin. Coleus may increase levels of cyclic AMP (cAMP), which is involved in metabolic and hormonal processes. Human studies of Coleus have shown to increase lean body mass and support weight management in combination with regular exercise.†

FUNCTIONS Forskolin is commonly used to raise levels of cyclic AMP (cAMP) in the study and research of cell physiology. Forskolin activates the enzyme adenylyl cyclase and increases intracellular levels of cAMP. cAMP is an important second messenger necessary for the proper biological response of cells to hormones and other extracellular signals. It is required for cell communication in the hypothalamus/pituitary gland axis and for the feedback control of hormones.

INDICATIONS Coleus extract is indicated for individuals that desire metabolic support with use of forskolin.  

SUGGESTED USE Adults take one capsule twice daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
