Gastro is formulated with high quality amylase digestive enzymes to aid in the proper digestion of carbohydrates, protein, fats and dairy products. Gastro is ideal for vegetarians or anyone exhibiting amylase deficiency.

Amylase Digestive Enzymes that Break Down Carbohydrates Gastro contains four different types of enzymes that break down carbohydrates found in grains, seeds, legumes, vegetables and other plants. These enzymes stop gas, flatulence, bloating and discomfort from: Beans, broccoli, cabbage, onion, peppers, soy products, whole grain cereals, seeds and more.

Certain foods produce more gas than others because they contain more indigestible carbohydrates (fiber). The enzyme primarily responsible for breaking these types of carbohydrates down is known as alpha-galactosidase. Gastro contains more of this enzyme than any other Enzymedica product.

Amylase Digestive Enzymes Supplement Recommended Usage

Suggested Use: One capsule with meals. Gastro™ works best when combined with Digest™. For issues associated with Amylase deficiency take 1 between meals 3 times a day.
