What does Glucosamine HCl Mega 1000 do?

Glucosamine is an aminosaccharide synthesized from glucose and the amino acid L-glutamine. HCl (hydrochloric acid) stabilizes the glucosamine in this product. Glucosamine is a component of joint and intestinal tissue and is involved in the production of synovial fluid, which lubricates the joints.* Glucosamine is converted to N-acetyl-glucosamine in the intestines by the goblet cells.* Glucosamine HCl is SALT FREE.

Suggested Usage

Take 1 tablet 1 or 2 times per day or as directed by your qualified health care consultant. Easy-Solv® tablets are designed to disintegrate within several minutes of ingestion. Jarrow FORMULAS® Glucosamine HCI is completely vegetarian/vegan and made in the USA by microbiological fermentation.
