Montana Emu Ranch™ Hot Spice & Ice Herbal Pain Reliever generates heat and increases circulation. Emu Oil is an anti-inflammatory and carrier for Arnica and Cajeput, reducing inflammation.


Eases pain in sore muscles and joints.
Used by massage therapists.
Our Hot Spice & Ice and Deep Muscle Rub are complementary to each other.

Organic and Wild Crafted Ingredients are always used, when available.
Aloe Gel, AEA Certified Grade A Emu Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Montana Beeswax. Extract of (Wild Crafted Arnica Flower). Essential Oils of (Peppermint, Wintergreen, Eucalyptus, Cajeput, Capsicum Fruit). Xanthan Gum.

Warning: Do NOT use around eyes, face, mucous membranes, wounds, broken or irritated skin.

Aloe, Organic (vera, barbedensis) INCI Name: ALOE BARBADENSIS (ALOE VERA) GEL: A rich emollient known to promote healing for damaged and burned skin. Used to counteract wrinkles. May be used as a carrying agent for essential oils. A local anesthetic to relieve pain both on the surface and deep into the surface. contains an abundant amount of vitamins, amino acids and minerals; that support skin functions, stimulates circulation.

Emu Oil, AEA Certified Grade A (Dramius); Our Emu are raised in Montana: Emu oil is a very deep penetrating moisturizer that has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and healing properties. Hydrates the skin and increases elasticity. Emu oil is a trans-dermal carrier oil. Fatty Acids are essential building blocks of cellular membranes. Emu oil is a healthy topical or ingestible oil. It is a complex of fatty acids including Omega 3, 5, 6, 7, & 9.

Grapeseed Oil (Vitis vinifera) INCI Name: VITIS VINIFERA (GRAPE): Easily absorbed by the skin. Wonderful emollient. Mild astringent which helps to tighten and tone the skin. Non-comedogenic (does not clog pores) a nutrient for cell membranes. Contains high grade anti-oxidants.

Beeswax (Montana) (Apis mellifera) INCI Name: BEESWAX: Protects skin from dryness, sun and wind. Anti-bacterial

Arnica (wildcrafted) Flower EXTRACT: For use on unbroken skin only. Applied to sprains & bruises, widely used to prevent or treat hemorrhages & hematomas. Great for tender feet. Also used as a deodorant.

Peppermint (Mentha piperita) INCI Name: MENTHA PIPERITA (PEPPERMINt) ESSENTIAL OIL: An excellent anti-septic and astringent. It soothes and tones blemished, irritated skin. Used for treatment of oily skin, acne, blackheads and pimples. Relieves muscle and joint pains. Vitalizing and uplifting. Helps open up breathing passages and sinuses.

Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) ESSENTIAL OIL: Astringent, anti-septic, mild analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic, and anti-spasmodic, good for rheumatism because of its warming action on muscles and skin. Excellent in body rubs and bath oils. Intensely strong, sweet and woody. Should not be used for aromatherapy. Used to treat snake bites, dog bites, and stings of poisonous insects.

Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) ESSENTIAL OIL: Anti-infectious and wound healing properties. Anti-septic and anti-bacterial. This fragrant oil is used in cleansers, massages formulations and bath oils to reduce inflammations and kill germs. It has a soothing effect on the skin and scalp, is used in respiratory diseases, and is anti-spasmodic. Promotes formation of new cells.

Cajeput (Melaleuca cajeputi) INCI Name: CAJEPUT ESSENTIAL OIL: Reduces inflammations, good for sore muscles and rheumatic pains, anti-spasmodic. Good for oily skin, spots, and insect bites. Produces a sensation of warmth. Anti-septic, analgesic.

Capsicum (Capsicum frutescens); ESSENTIAL OIL: Circulatory stimulant, promotes sweating, anti-septic, anti-bacterial, stimulating nerve tonic. A counter-irritant that increases blood flow to an area. Desensitizes nerve endings.

Xanthan Gum INCI Name: XANTHAN GUM: Derived from sugar. Widely used as a thickener, an emulsifier, and stabilizer. No known toxicity.


Instructions for use: Apply to affected area one to two times daily or as needed. This product has capsicum in it so it is not recommended to use on feet or enclosed areas. The Capsicum will heat up! Hot Spice & Ice with its Cayenne (capsicum) contains the P-factor, this short circuits the pain message sent to the brain. You should feel a hot and/or cold sensation because of the counter irritants in this product.
