Devils Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is a tree native to the southern regions of Africa and gets its name from the hooks which cover its fruit.  It is a traditional folk remedy of tribal African peoples and has also been used by Europeans and Canadians.  Devil's Claw contains a number of naturally occuring beneficial compounds including phytosterols, flavonoids and phenolic acids, and is anti-inflammatory and pain reducing herb.

Devils Claw has been extensively used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, and is especially popular in Germany where many studies on this supplement have been carried out.  Devil's Claw has a long tradition in herbal remedies as an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving herb, particularly regarding healthy joint care and maintenance. The chemicals contained within Devil's Claw supplement help joints and connective tissues, making it particularly useful in the treatment of arthritic, rheumatic, back pain, inflammation of the lower parts of the body, general aches and pains in the muscles and joints.

Serving Size:  2 Capsules

Suggested Usage:  As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules 2 to 3 times daily.  Consider taking this product in combination with NOW® Glucosamine & Chondroitin and D-Flame™.
