    • Oregano essential oil contains strong immune-enhancing and antioxidant properties and supports the respiratory system. For colds and flu, You may find some relief by adding a couple drops of oregano oil to a diffuser or vapourizer and inhaling for a few minutes.


A drop added to water may also provide some relief from a sore throat. It's also used for GI problems, as oil of oregano has anti-fungal or antiviral properties. It has anti-fungal properties, and some studies have shown that in lab cultures, oregano oil puts up a strong fight against Candida albicans, the bacteria that causes the fungal infection candida.


You can use it on your skin, as oregano oil is helpful for skin conditions like cold sores, muscle aches, nail fungus, joint pain, and dandruff. Try diluting it with a carrier oil like jojoba, sweet almond, or grapeseed, at 10 to 12 drops oregano oil per ounce of carrier oil.

Suggested Use:  For aromatherapy use.  For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil prior to use.  Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios.
 
Warnings: Always dilute before any use other than aromatherapy, never use undiluted.  Keep out of reach of children.  Avoid contact with eyes.  If pregnant or lactating, consult a practitioner before use.
