Bangs & Scrapes relieves symptoms of shock and pain with injuries, cuts, and bruises as well as reducing the tension and swelling.
This complex helps repair soft tissues, such as bruises and sprains, stretched muscle fibers, torn ligaments, sprained ankles, banged knees, and wounds.
Bangs & Scrapes is excellent to use after surgery to enhance the healing process.
Directions: Give a dose every 30 minutes for 4 hours. Reduce to every 2 to 4 hours as needed. Also consider a topical application of Arnica Ointment for sprains, strains, bruises, and contusions, Calendula Ointment for open wounds, scalds, and burns, or Trauma Ointment for all types of injury. Watch for signs of shock in blunt wounds: faintness, weakness, drowsiness or confusion, sweating, and cool clammy skin. If you suspect spinal injury, call a health care professional to transport the injured child. If a child’s permanent tooth is knocked out it can be reimplanted between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Contact a dentist for emergency service; transport the tooth inside the mouth or in a cup of milk, never water. Call a health professional if a cut continues to bleed through bandages after 15 minutes of direct pressure or if blood or clear fluid drains from the ears or nose following a blow to the head. If an animal bite is severe and may need stitches, or if it is on the hand or face, seek professional care; stitches must be done within 8 hours. If a child loses consciousness anytime after an injury, or if there is blue, white, or cold skin, numbness, tingling, or loss of feeling, or if child is unable to move a limb below the wound, also seek immediate professional care.
