Nutricology Modified Citrus Pectin Powder 16 oz
 

Same as Item #52060, in a more economical powdered form. Modified citrus pectin is different from other pectin because of the way it is prepared. It is modified by a proprietary process, which reduces the molecular weight of the pectin molecule. Average molecular weight: 30kD; pH: 6.0-7.2; Methoxylation: not more than 5%.
 

Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, 5 to 15 grams daily; dissolve one rounded teaspoon (approx. 5 g) of powder in water, juice or other liquid and drink one to three times daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 

NOTE: For easier mixing, place Modified Citrus Pectin Powder in a jar or shaker with desired liquid and shake.

CAUTION: Those on a sodium-restricted diet should consult their healthcare practitioner before use.

Item ordered on Feb. 18, received Mar. 1. Unhappy with product. Mixes poorly in water as supplement, leaving gluey blobs. Darker color than other product I used when I was removing capsule. Thought this would be simpler, but likely won't use due to aversion of drinking gluey blobs.
