Q: How is CuraMed® different than Curamin®? Can we take them both together?

A: CuraMed provides high absorption BCM-95® Curcumin and is our highest potency, all-curcumin product. Curamin provides BCM-95® Curcumin along with BosPure® Boswellia, DL–phenylalanine (DLPA), and nattokinase as a combination for occasional muscle pain due to exercise or overuse.* It is perfectly fine to use them together, according to your individual preferences.

Q: Why the two milligram levels – 375 mg and 750 mg of CuraMed®?

A: The majority of people will probably want to use the 750 mg dosage. However, the 375 mg softgel is a good alternative for those who want a smaller softgel size to swallow, or for those who are looking to maintain their health using a lower dosage of curcumin.

Q: How does the BCM-95® Curcumin in CuraMed® compare to other curcumin and turmeric products?

A: The proper product comparison is curcumin to curcumin. However, since many companies are comparing their curcumin absorption to turmeric, we provide this information as a service to our customers.

• Plain curcumin 95% delivers up to 50 times more curcumin as the
   same amount of turmeric.
• BCM-95® Curcumin has been proven to deliver up to 10 times more
   curcumin into the bloodstream as the same amount of plain curcumin.
• Therefore, when compared gram per gram, BCM-95® Curcumin
   delivers up to 10 times more curcumin than plain curcumin 95% and up to
   500 times more curcumin than found in an equal amount of turmeric.

Sometimes called the Indian Solid Gold for its beautiful golden color, the spice turmeric (which contains the beneficial compound, curcumin) has been valued as a food and a medicine for thousands of years. Turmeric is primarily grown in the southern areas of India. Although not a certified organic crop, the farming practices are traditional – the roots are dug by hand, the burned plant leaves are turned back into the soil for extra nutrients, and no synthetic chemicals or pesticides are used. After the roots are harvested, they are cleaned in water, cured and dried. After drying, the root is ground for use as a spice, or the curcumin is extracted to be used for its health benefits.
