Newton Homeopathics POISON IVY, 1 fl oz Liquid
N28 - POISON IVY
Three common plants that are known to cause allergic skin reactions are poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac.
Poison ivy is a climbing plant with three-lobed leaves, whereas the poison oak is a small shrub with similar leaves.
Poison sumac has 7 to 11 leaves, in the form of a coarse shrub, and not as widespread.
The leaves contain irritating oil that on contact burns and damages the skin causing a nasty skin rash with an unbearable itch that can persist for several days.
Symptoms may appear from a few hours to several days after exposure.
To relieve symptoms of skin blisters, redness, and itching from poison ivy, poison oak, and sumac, take Poison Ivy.
Directions: Take 3 to 6 drops on the tongue 2 to 4 times daily as needed for symptoms. Local application of Calendula Lotion or diluted Calendula or Echinacea Mother Tincture is also helpful to relieve itching and speed healing. The Rhus tox. Ointment is also ideal as a topical application for poison ivy.
