NOW pleasant tasting Nutritional Yeast Flakes are produced from a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This yeast is grown on enriched purified cane and beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions.  This is a primary grown yeast and is therefore NOT a brewery by-product as is brewer's yeast.  This ensures freedom from Candida albicans yeast. It is is easy to incorporate into a healthy diet every day. 

Because of its delicious flavor it is easy to add to a variety of foods.  For a great-tasting nutritious snack, sprinkle it liberally over hot popcorn.   Use it as a seasoning for salads, vegetables, potatoes, rice, sauces, gravies, soups, casseroles, sandwiches, and spreads.  Sprinkle it over spaghetti and other pasta, pizza, or other dishes as a healthful replacement for grated cheese.  Consumers who like to get the added B-Vitamins and other nutrients in their diet often add one or two teaspoons to their juice or in smoothies for an added nutritional boost.

Suggested Usage:  Take 2 heaping tablespoons daily mixed in milk, fruit juice or vegetable juice.  It can also be used in vegetarian recipes or added to protein shakes to boost nutritional content.  Consider taking this product in combination with NOW® Lecithin and Flax Meal.
